Who we are
This site is operated by Radhika “Rad” Devarakonda, an independent licensed insurance agent based in Hillsboro, Oregon. Contact: radlife.rdevarakonda@gmail.com, 203 554 5548.
What we collect
We collect only what you choose to give us, plus basic technical information:
- Contact information you submit: name, email address, phone number, your preferred contact method, and the content of your message.
- Scheduling information if you book a conversation through our scheduling provider.
- Technical information automatically generated when you visit, such as approximate location derived from IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring site.
What we deliberately do not collect
This website does not collect health conditions, medications, height or weight, tobacco use, date of birth, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or income through any web form. Information of that kind is collected only within the formal, licensed insurance application process, through the carrier’s own secure systems.
Why we use it
To respond to your inquiry, to schedule and conduct a conversation you requested, to provide information you asked for, to maintain records required of licensed insurance producers, and to comply with applicable law.
We do not sell your personal data
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. See Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
Who we share it with
Service providers who help operate this site and our practice — website hosting, email, scheduling, and customer relationship management — and only as needed to perform those services. If you choose to apply for coverage, information you provide in that process is shared with the insurance carrier and any applicable marketing organization for underwriting and servicing. We may also disclose information where required by law or legal process. [SERVICE PROVIDER LIST — CLIENT TO CONFIRM AT LAUNCH]
How long we keep it
Inquiry records are retained for as long as necessary to respond and to satisfy recordkeeping obligations that apply to licensed insurance producers, then deleted or de-identified. [RETENTION PERIOD — CONFIRM WITH IMO/CARRIER COMPLIANCE]
Your rights under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act
If you are an Oregon resident, the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal data and access that data.
- Obtain a list of specific third parties to which we have disclosed personal data.
- Correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
- Delete personal data we hold about you.
- Obtain a portable copy of data you provided to us.
- Opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and profiling in furtherance of decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
Residents of other states may have comparable rights under their own laws, and we honor requests from any resident who asks.
